A Tarot Spread for Soul-Led Business

by Letters From The Cards

After sharing the Marketing With Meaning tarot spread, something deeper started to rise.

That spread focused on visibility, voice, and message. But beneath it, a quieter question was whispering:

What would it look like to shape my whole business through the cards — not just the marketing?

Why I Created This

Most business plans begin with numbers. Mine began with a feeling — and a deck of cards.

I was craving something more than just strategy. Something that felt like a ritual. Something that honoured rhythm, not just results.

So I reimagined the traditional business plan through the lens of tarot. And what emerged was The Intuitive Business Plan — an 8-card spread that blends classic business categories with spiritual self-inquiry.

I pulled the spread using the Architect of Self tarot deck, and what came through felt more like a reckoning than a reading. Below, I’m sharing both the spread and what I uncovered.

The Spread: The Intuitive Business Plan

This layout mirrors a standard business plan — executive summary, market, offers, structure — but asks each piece as a question, letting your intuition lead.

A tarot spread titled 'Business Planning Tarot Spread' on a purple background. Eight cards are arranged in a grid, each labeled with a business planning question: executive summary, business purpose, market analysis, structure, offerings, marketing, financial vision, and next step.

My Real Pull Using This Spread

Deck used: The Architect of Self

1. Executive Summary – What is the soul of this business?

🃏 Knight of Cups This business is a quest — poetic, emotional, intuitive. It’s not here to follow trends; it’s here to lead with heart. A love letter turned into strategy.

2. Business Description & Purpose – What am I building & why?

🃏 The Emperor A sovereign structure. This business is meant to hold, protect, and empower — not just others, but myself. It’s leadership that comes from lived truth.

3. Market Analysis – Who am I serving, and what do they need?

🃏 Six of Cups I’m serving those who are returning to themselves. The nostalgic ones. The soft ones. The ones who are healing. My business is a gentle remembering.

4. Organisation & Structure – What form supports this vision best?

🃏 Ace of Cups (Reversed) I’ve been over-pouring. The next version of this business needs structure that lets me receive too — not just give. Emotional sustainability is structure too.

5. Products & Services – What wants to be offered?

🃏 Six of Wands (Reversed) Something is ready to be seen — but fear has kept it hidden. This card whispers: share the offering even if it feels too bright. It deserves the spotlight.

6. Marketing Strategy – How is this work asking to be shared?

🃏 Seven of Wands Through boldness. Not broadcasting — but grounded defiance. This work isn't meant to appeal to everyone. It wants to stand tall and resonate with your people.

7. Financial Vision – What’s my relationship to abundance & sustainability?

🃏 Two of Pentacles (Reversed) There’s been too much juggling. This card says: pare it down. Focus. Simplify. Choose rhythm over rush. True abundance is breath, not burnout.

8. Action Plan – What’s my next aligned step?

🃏 Ace of Pentacles Plant the seed. Say yes. This is your moment to begin again — not with urgency, but with quiet certainty. You’re ready.
