The First Letter

For whoever needs it
In 2020, my world fell apart. Two hospital stays. The end of a long-term relationship. My Opa died. My cat Garfield, my best friend of eighteen years, died too. I lost the home I had lived in for ten years. The pandemic cracked the edges of everything.
It felt like the ground kept slipping away. I reached for anything that felt steady. That is how I found tarot.
At first, I read for myself. Quiet moments with the cards helped me listen beneath the noise. They gave shape to the questions I was holding.
Later that year, in hospital, I began writing my readings down. It happened quietly. I would pull cards, sit with the symbols, and shape the message into words. Writing made the reading stay with me. It gave the reflection weight. It became something I could return to when everything else was uncertain.
I began offering these written readings to others in hospital. Small letters, passed between people carrying their own heaviness and questions. A few of them told me they kept their reading close. One by their bed. Another brought theirs into each hospital stay. The words stayed with them, the way they stayed with me.
That was the first letter.
Letters From the Cards grew from that moment. Every reading arrives as a letter. Written with care. Shaped to reflect your story through symbols and ink.
You can choose how your letter arrives. A digital reading sent to your inbox. Or a keepsake sent by mail. Something you can hold. Something that waits for you when you need it.
If you are carrying questions. If your story feels tangled, heavy, or waiting to unfold. If you want space to pause and hear what is already speaking within you.
This is where it begins.
The first letter is already written. It is only waiting for your hands to open it.

Imagine receiving a beautifully written letter delivered to your inbox like a whispered message from the universe. A letter that gently guides you through the questions, patterns, and truths shaping your path. This is the heart of Letters From the Cards.
Through the art of tarot, each reading is crafted as an intimate letter—thoughtful, poetic, and attuned to your spirit. You choose the voice: from grounded wisdom to mystical insight, every deck holds a distinct personality. And if you wish, ritual elements like sigils or spells can be woven in to deepen your experience.
Tarot isn’t about prediction—it’s about reflection. It mirrors what already lives within you: the clarity you crave, the power you’ve forgotten, the next steps waiting to unfold. My role is simply to translate what the cards are whispering, and write it all down with care.
Whether you’re seeking direction, healing, or connection to your inner storyteller, Letters From the Cards offers a sacred pause—a space to see yourself clearly and reclaim your voice.
If you're ready to meet the weird, wise, and tender parts of yourself through written ritual, you’re in the right place. Let the cards speak. Let the letter arrive. Let your truth unfold.
