Business Astrology Oracle: My Experience and What I Learned as a Business Owner

By Cat, Letters from the Cards

Lately, nearly every tarot spread I’ve pulled for myself has circled back to business. Not just strategy, but soul. Messaging. Visibility. Alignment. I’ve shared some of these readings publicly—like Marketing with Meaning, a spread for reconnecting with brand voice and audience, and The Intuitive Business Plan, a framework for co-creating your path with the cards. Both resonated deeply with others navigating their own intuitive work in the world.

The image features a soft gradient background fading from beige to lavender, with gold and black text describing the post. The bottom includes the "Letters from the Cards" logo featuring an open book with a star above it.

So when I stumbled across the Business Astrology Oracle in an esoteric shop, I couldn’t go past it. The timing, the themes... it all lined up. I felt the resonance immediately. It was like my practice and purpose had been distilled into 62 cards.

This deck maps the cosmic terrain of business. It includes zodiac signs, angles, houses, planets, luminaries, the asteroid Chiron, lunar nodes, polarities, elements, modalities, major aspects, and even the asteroid goddesses. It’s a full astrological spectrum tailored for entrepreneurs, creatives, and anyone building something meaningful.

When I offered to pull cards for others over on Threads, I didn’t expect the flood of responses or the depth of connection that followed. What began as a quiet experiment became a spell of collective insight. What I offered in a few lines, people reflected back in gratitude, clarity, and courage.

What the Cards Kept Saying

As I offered these quickfire readings, certain cards began surfacing repeatedly like echoes moving through different people, all circling the same themes. It felt like a pulse, a pattern, a shared business current.

Taurus arrived like a quiet architect. Empire-building energy. Not rushed, just anchored. It asked: what if power didn’t mean burnout?

Cancer flowed in gently, a reminder to nurture the self as much as the work. To honour emotional rhythms and create business from wholeness.

Mutable danced in often, encouraging flexibility and refinement. It reminded us that offerings evolve and that we’re not meant to wait for perfection before beginning.

The Sun shone like affirmation: You’re ready to be seen. This wasn’t about visibility for the sake of it, but for the sake of embodiment allowing joy and presence lead.

They were signals. Nudges. Confirmation for those already sensing something stirring under the surface.

Reflections That Stayed With Me

The feedback was tender and powerful.

One person told me their card aligned perfectly with their Sun sign, offering clarity around a moment they were quietly navigating. Another received the Scorpio card, The Alchemist, and shared: "I can feel something coming in my business, I just don’t know what it is yet. Alignment has been appearing in various ways, so this was very accurate."

Another shared that they were in the middle of closing their nail business to start a Reiki practice and the card they pulled spoke to that transition like a mirror held up to the soul.

In each message, I could feel how real this work is. Even in short replies. Even in digital threads.

Returning to My Own Chart

Working with this deck stirred something deeper. I found myself revisiting my own chart as a tarot reader and business owner.

My Capricorn stellium, nestled in the 9th House, suddenly lit up in a new way revealing why I’m drawn to blend strategy with spirituality, systems with soul, and why I feel called to create offerings that teach, expand, and endure.

My Juno in the 10th House reminds me that purpose is a partnership I’ve chosen for life.

And my Pluto and Moon in the 7th House reflect just how intertwined my emotional evolution is with the relationships I build to clients, collaborators, and the mirror of my own work.

The Business Astrology Oracle didn’t just help others find clarity.

It brought me back into alignment with my own.

A Glimpse of What’s to Come

Right now, the Business Astrology Oracle isn’t part of my regular reading offerings but that will change.

This experience, reading for dozens of soul-led entrepreneurs over Threads, witnessing how quickly the cards offered clarity confirmed what I’ve long sensed: this is part of my path. My Capricorn placements call me to build something lasting, intentional, and transformative.

Down the track, I’ll be opening up readings and offerings specifically for business alignment that are infused with astrology, tarot, ritual, and strategic clarity. This deck will be woven into that expansion.

If you’re craving clarity for your own business path, I currently offer written tarot readings designed to help you reconnect with your vision, your energy, and your next steps.

These readings are crafted slowly and intentionally blending reflection, symbolism, and insight to help you meet your business where it is, and shape where it's going.

While the Business Astrology Oracle isn’t part of my readings yet, tarot has always been my first tool for mapping the unknown. If you feel called to explore your work through that lens, your letter is waiting.

Until then, thank you for reading, receiving, and walking this with me.

Here’s to the cosmic clues, the brave steps, and the power of building something real on purpose, and in rhythm with the stars.

I also reached out to the deck’s creator, Kathryn Hocking, to express my sincere thanks and to my surprise, she wrote back directly. That kind of personal connection only deepened my appreciation for this deck and the energy behind it.

I highly recommend the Business Astrology Oracle to anyone weaving spirit into strategy, or seeking tools that honour both intuition and ambition. It’s one of the most thoughtful and empowering decks I’ve worked with and hopefully, it’s something we’ll offer in our own shop down the line.
